All of the cops I have dealt with will let you off with no more than a warning not to be so obvious as long as everything checks out fine and you do not give them any lip. It is definitely a pain when you have to go through it, but it is not like I have anything to hide and the more railfans who are nicer to the police offers the less likely they are to bother other railfans - is it really worth their time when they won't be able to get anything out of it |
