Does not pay to argue with the beat cop. He is not judge jury and executioner. Cops issue summons, judges decide if it was just.It has always been my experience to be polite to the police. Explain that you did not know it was not allowed and you would not do it again. Most cops would give you a pass. Been pulled over for running a red light a few times (got caught in light because of another car doing stupid things) and explained to the officer my situation. Never hurts to tell the cop you are a city worker |
