Chris: When the 6th Avenue Line opened it only had the two local tracks. These two tracks expanded to four just north of West 4 Street and the four tracks continued thru to 2 Avenue. The diamond crossover north of West 4 Street were added in 1967 when the 6 Avenue express tracks were finally opened.Larry, RedbirdR33 |
