If you ride that stretch bet 137th Street and 145th Street(137 yard area) there are so many homesignals in both directions that call-ons have to be taken and given from 240 Tower and then the trains have to key by countless approach signals, its not as easy as you think.Those signals are real close to together at that so you need supervision down there to check the switches and use radios to help move those trains.So instead of that lock it all down and get the signal department down there to fix the problem. |
