I dunno jeet about signals and tracks and switches but I would imagine that the tracks REMAIN in the same position as when the last nb/sb train passed over them.... therefore, I'd suggested the visible key-by. But if the diverting SWITCHES from the yard sidings would "Reset" or move themselves back to a non-straight position, THEN I can comprehend the need to cut off service in that sect. |
