I did some work for NRG, which owns the property. The car was demolished when the West Shore line was rebuilt through the yard; however, they have what looks like an old GE switcher on the property, painted yellow and blue and lettered for Con Edison. It's in a shed near the coal dump. The plant is oil fired, but has the coal 'option' that has never been used. The plant supervisor has no idea if any of the coal equipment will actually work, and it's all fenced off, even to company employees.
