Extending the MARC to newark DE!!!! So now fially so you can go from new york city to washinton DC using only commuter rail!!!!In my opinion the most important and most ambitious part of the plan is the expansion of the capacity through the P&B tunnel. The other part is making all of the NEC in Maryland 4 track. What is in this plan kind of dovetails with what was discussed in the High speed rail on the NEC-300 kmh service thread.
