They needed to extend the subway to get onto airport property. And BART has a distance based fare system, right? So you need to go further. So they charge more. But the circulator is free.If NYCT had distance based fares, and they extended the A to the terminals, then it might makes sense to charge more to ride that portion of the (A). |
