Exactly!!Having the SAS via Montauge Tunnel and Nassau Street provides Brooklyn riders with a badly needed option aside from the 4/5 from midtown. Knowing how crowded the 4/5 gets south of 59th during both rush hours both ways, the SAS to/from Brooklyn (probably as a full-time train to at least 9th Avenue and rush hours to at least Bay Parkway replacing the rush-hour M train) would be a huge benefit to riders there wanting midtown on the east side and not having to deal with the 4/5, and for many a cross-platform transfer to the 6 at Brooklyn Bridge or 14th. |
