I agree with that, except again, to do it from there and speed up the start of the Nassau Street Line phase of the SAS would require phase 3 to be extended to Chatam Square and beyond there enough to include such a connect to the Nassau Street line (though that would be good because it also means the Grand Street connection to the B/D would be open a lot sooner as well). That was why I was saying do it from Houston if possible.As for the potential problems of lengthening the Nassau Street Line stations, that is a potential issue regardless of any SAS connection since it may be necessary to extend those stations and the rest of those on the J/M/Z anyway because of increased ridership on the Broadway Brooklyn lines. |
