Can't go anywhere near parkland in the most politically connected areas, e.g., Central Park, of course.Can't go through parks in most other areas with els either. Expensive. No provision for rail was made. (Robert Moses, quite deliberately). That wouldn't stop a line from going through. They did it on the Van Wyck, and there was no provision there either. |
