It depends on the frequency of service. If the service interval is twenty minutes or more, being there ten minutes early is not too much.If you're riding the Montrealer which only runs once a day, be there thirty minutes early. When I commuted in Tokyo in the seventies and eighties you had to be there at least five minutes early at some stations even though service was very frequent, because you would not fit on the first train and had to wait in the queue for the next train. |
