NJT fares are generally cheaper over distance than Metro North, and they don't have peak fares like Metro North does in both directions!. It only costs 50 cents more to go from Hoboken to Port Jervis than it does to go from GCT to New Haven off peak. A round-trip peak ticket to NH is $37. |
