As far as i know or remember, the Far Rockaway line was not a Penn Station line on weekends. It also wasn't like West Hempstead, it went through (as far as I know) to Brooklyn most of the time.I think the Long Beach line was shifted as they had the slots, and there was a lot of Long Beach demand for Penn Station? So what replaced all the Long Beach trains to Brooklyn? Were they just dropped? I know Hempstead was also usually a Brooklyn branch line often too. |
