Kinda sorta seems like a double standard -- We get to be 5 minutes late, you have to be 5 minutes early. When did Tom Coughlin take over the LIRR?Coughlin's rules were arbitrary. Railroad schedules are complicated and very necessary for the efficient movement of trains, especially on a system like the LIRR which must squeeze many, many trains into a limited space from many, many branches. |
