I can't vouch for employee relations, which have been bad in the past, but you're wrong about the passenger end of things. MTA in particular has been pretty good about responding to customer demand.As to making suggestions, Railman has some good points. I personally found that persistence patience and politeness have been great tools. I've not only had several suggestions implemented, but have received thoughtful replies and effective assistance when I needed it. What people often don't understand is that if your particular suggestion isn't implemented, it isn't automaticaly because MTA is blowing you off. If 10 other people are suggesting just the opposite, you're not likely to get it accomplished. |
