The question as I see it(and I really don't know what is the situation) is, Are the rebuilds awful jobs?... Or is WMATA's maintenance awful?I suspect it is probably atributable to both, but Alstom may be at more fault then WMATA. \ IIRC the Rohr 1000s, which are the oldest in age, (and time since overhaul) are the most reliable, with relatively high MDBF(although still below anything present in NYCT) |
