the canopies on the Far Rockaway Side were already replaced. All disused stairways (no longer used and in some cases they are half gone already) will be removed.
I heard that They will also rehab the viaduct steel and deck (roadbed). They will also address the line from Broad Channel.(I do not know if they will fix Broad Channel or just the right of way.) Work will start in June, 2008 on thew rock Park side first since those stations are in need of greater attention
