They will do it if enough people are asking for it. I think ridership has increased to the point where eadding express service is appropriate, but we'll see what MTA decides. I imagine that the decision would be made a year in advance (ie 2011) because of the schedule changes, rolling stock assignments, the union "pick" to operate the trains, and so on. |
