THE project is an NJT project and will go no where near the tunnel on 33rd Street.It is quite likely that NJT will have its own tunnel to HSq since its new tunnels will go right on up to it. As for the 33rd Street Tunnel, that is NOT on city property, it is not, nor ever has been a part of the Subway System, PATH, or LIRR/AMTK/PRR. It is up to Vorando Reality what to do with that tunnel.
