In the Beginning there was Macy*s between 34 and 35 and occupied the whole block. There was Sacks 34th Street between 33 and 34 and occupied about 1/3rd of the block. In the 70s Korvettes was in there. Gimbles was between 32nd and 33rd Streets and occupied about 2/3rds of the block. It also had a building south of 32nd Street and there was a high story passageway between the buildings. Methinks they had their upholstery shop there.ROAR |
