A cut for the LOMEX would be really hard to do with all the subways lines running underneath the streets. Since it would be coming off the bridge, the devastation would be all the more severe. A deep bore tunnel from the Queens-Midtown to the Lincoln Tunnel would seem more doable but still an incredible challenge. |
