I can walk along Fulton street and Eastern Parkway through Brooklyn no problem, while Harlem gives me the creeps. It's all about experiences.I'm just saying, the JJ wasn't peaches and cream. Even today, when I look at the NYPD blotter map on gothamist.com, the J has been mentioned several times for crime-related incidents. I will say this thou, I feel for scenic purposes, the Broadway El is one of the best urabn els in the country for getting a NYC-style feel of the neighborhoods. The Astoria el would come after it. |
