Looking at things under current layout, I think it's for the best that it has remained a local station, because it would have ruined the express run (which isn't the greatest to begin with). It would almost be like Nostrand Ave on the Fulton. The express only skips one station [Kingston-Throop] between its stops at that section.I reckon the outer trackways should be used by a second Queens Express Line, and the local diverted to the LIE. |
