Trouble at the CSX crossing in Darby-Philly Route 11 trolley |

The trolley tracks (as of 9 AM) have sunk below the railroad tracks and Route 11 cannot go to or come from Darby.So the 11 is gong as far south as Island Rd. and using Elmwood Depot as a turn around. Shuttle buses are running from Island road to and from Darby as we speak. In addition, Route 13 , Chester ave. is turning at Yeadon ,as normal, but pull-ins and pull-outs cannot use Darby. They are using either 49th st. or 58th Street for depot moves. The estimated repair time on the sunken crossing is unknown at this time. Also we just heard Route 10 is running to 40th & Market. not using the subway. Something about police activity at Spring Garden & Lancaster Aves. Another fun day on SEPTA. Chuck Greene |
