I don't usually subscribe to conspiracy theories but I can't find one logical arguement that the small business owners in Downtown Jamaica would want to have the Jamaica El torn down and not replaced with an adequate substitute. The Q49 bus was not an adequate replacement. It was the death penalty for many businesses in that area. |
