This was in service with Arriva Trains Wales a few months ago I believe that the policy of Arriva TW and Central Trains (I've seen two or three of their units in tagged to this degree) is that, when the grafitti is applied when the unit's stabled at an outstation, it's allocated to a diagram which will return it to a major depot the next day to enable removal. As outstations will rarely - if ever - have a spare unit available, it's a choice between cancelling service(s) or running a badly-tagged unit in service for one day. |
