And to think, some people say the the R142 is "too bright".It is! Dark cars are cool. I only got to ride dark trains twice - one was the Redbird Ramble in December 2003 and the other was an R143 L train going through 14th where the lights mysteriously went out for no apparent reason. I also saw a dark L train (also an R143) pull in going the other way at Bushwick-Aberdeen once (I didn't even know it was in service until the lights came back on). |
