These are non-substantive arrests that authorities are holding up as some sort of progress in the war on terror. Moreover, we've arrested these idiots before they had any chance to make contacts and/or make invesements in their plot. If you keep your small fish on the line you might get something bigger.What should scare you is that there we never hear about substantive plots being broken up. There was that one guy caiught before 9/11 with the explosives in his trunk trying to cross over from Canada. Aside from that the first we know of the real plots is when things start exploding. |
