I just hope the June 17 trip doesn't sell out too fast. Already tried to call the reservation number and could only leave a voice message with Luz- she's apparently the one who handles this stuff from having seen her on last year's SIR tour. Luckily, I work just a block and a half from the Museum and could make the reservation and payment in person.It doesn't make it clear, but can we assume 100, 484, 1575 and friends will be used? There were up to FOUR additional cars used in the December '04 Broadway local revenue runs. I think they included 381, 401 and 1803. Unfortunately the large diner at the Rockaway Park diner closed last year. It was heavily publicized in their local weekly, THE WAVE. That's going to make the neighboring eateries very crowded. I can't say it enough- we railfans were SPOILED by the MOD trips. |
