Wrong. Ever WMATA Station has an emergency exit at the ends of the platform when there is no surface mezzanine exit at the ends of the platform. Because Glenmont has it’s surface mezzanine near mid platform there are emergency exit stairs at both ends of the platform. There also are emergency exit stairs in the shaft beyond the interlocking north of the station.

I like the new lights, but that's just me. Old lights make the place look like a symphony concert hall, which I could never stay awake in, and it hurts my eyeballs.

Personally I prefer the mercury lamps over the sodium lamps because they better knock down the natural reddish tone of the sand and gravel in the concrete.
