I asked the NYCLU for a copy of the letter they received from the MTA. If and when I get it, I will post it to my website for you to make a copy.Thank you! By the way, I have never had any problems with taking pictures at GCT - there's so many tourists doing the same thing! But Penn Station is another story. Yes, you can take all the photos you want, no problem, as long as you are not on the platforms. A couple years ago I went down to the lower level for the first time and as I was about to walk down to track level I came upon two cops and a police dog. They wouldn't allow me to "be there." Now that I have a monthly ticket and this article, I'd like to start wandering the platforms getting photos of trains. I assume we can now do the same thing on the LIRR platforms at Penn Station. |
