Depends on the relative size of the dog vs. child.You are right in that there are other reasons. Given the circumstances described in the post, the explanation I gave is the most likely one. But dogs can attack because they are hungry, because they are defending their pups, or because the child has injured the dog (pulled on tail etc.) |
