There are now 18 trains arriving at 8th between 7:37 AM and 8:35. CBTC braking headways are 8 seconds longer than a properly designed fixed block system. That's part of the problem. A second problem is the direction reversing time at 8th Ave. A third is the software they use to make up the schedules. |
