The L train used to be so crowded that I know people who got on at 6th or Union Square and went back to 8th Ave just to get a seat.It still happens. If I get on a train at 8th in the PM rush hour, when the train pulls in not everyone gets off. There are now 18 trains arriving at 8th between 7:37 AM and 8:35. There used to be a max of 15 in an hour. |
