It’s one thing to slightly embellish a resume but when you make a totally false claim that during your military service you served in a war zone when you didn’t is an affront to those who did and to the branch of service you were in. It not just dishonest, but disrespectful and despicable.Just my opinion on that subject. My father who started out as a Conductor and retired as a Motorman use to say “Standing near the edge of the platform should only be done if you want to take a chance of getting killed.” He also said “Leaning over and looking down the tracks to see if the train is coming is not going to make it come any faster.” My dad unfortunately had a few 12-9s in his career while operating a train and found two others hit by other trains. |
