I can't speak to 1968 but in 1969 the pattern on the Culver and Smith St. Lines was Kings HWY bound F trains ran local along with the GG. F trains to Coney Island ran express. After Church Ave the express ran in peak direction to/from Kings Hwy during rush hours.During the 1970's my mom worked at John Jay High School as a guidance counselor. Our home station was Classon Ave on the GG. At her insistence I attended summer school programs at John Jay. The railfan in me would get off at Bergen Street and go to the lower level to catch a F express to 7th Ave. the stop for John Jay. The Lurkers'Guild Bergen Street lower user. |
