IIRC they ran a few test runs of the C-3s into GCT years ago and it was determined that they could only use tks 1 & 3 in the Park Ave Tunnel and platform at tks 23 & 24 on the upper level. In other words, a straight shot from the tunnel to the platform with minimal if any switching. This level of restrictions was determined to be unacceptable for regular commuter service. |
