It branches off from the original line at the Colfax Ave. viaduct and proceeds to Union Station. New stations include Auraria West, Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Ball Arena (formerly the Pepsi Center)-Elitch Gardens and Union Station. At the same time, color and letter codes were implemented for light rail routes. The original line became the D line and was colored green while the new line was designated as the C line and colored orange. Existing LRVs had a flip placard in front with a D and a green background on one side and a C with an orange background, in addition to the mylar destination sign. |
