The “EE” replacement was a few rush hour only “N” trains running southbound from Forest Hills in the AM and northbound from Whitehall Street in the PM. This makes it sound like Queens Blvd had BMT service only during the rush hours once the EE was discontinued. In fact, besides the few trains described above, the N replaced the EE between 57 St and Forest Hills all day during the week. Some Queens residents who wanted to travel to Brooklyn actually found the N more convenient than the EE, because they didn't have to change trains. My particular disappointment was that, while I thought having the N come to Forest Hills meant we would see R32s on Queens Blvd for the first time, instead the N got those R16s from the EE.
