And he isn't going anywhere as long as Hochul is governor He has made his decision by purchasing 80 more open gangway cars which will be enough to make the G between Church & CSQ 100% open gangway. Mark my words: TWU vs. MTA contract talks are coming soon. I am 100% sure that management will demand 24/7 OPTO G. This will kill the idea of G service to CTL when the M isn't running because the G would need more than a 300' train. Many will say that the G needs longer trains NOW between CSQ & Church. I agree 100%. But Janno has already hyped that the open gangways have higher capacity as the area in between cars on a conventional train is taken up by passengers on an open gangway train. |
