It is .8 miles. I've been driving up and down route 22 for over 30 years now and have never seen anybody on the campus of the old state hospital, even after it was finally sold to whatever evangelical group owns it now. It was first going to be some college operated by them, but now is just "Evangelical Center".After the state closed it, the speed limit going by it was 30mph for at least 20 years even though it was an empty space, where the rest of the road was 40 or 55. And it is funny how once a road is signed for something it almost never changes. |
