Maybe they could have done it by continuing past Ditmars to 20th or 21st Avenue or so and then run along that to get to LaGuardia where fewer residents are (or at that time, were). Now, I would look to extend past Ditmars with the idea of getting the (N) and (W) to The Bronx. |
