At that time the IND & BMT were not unified.

So IND barns inspected the R1/9's and R10's.

BMT barns inspected the DTypes, Standards, and the smaller fleets like the Multi's.

I have no doubt the Main Shops at 207th and CI did major work on IND and BMT cars respectively.
