Some connections like this look good on paper but realistically would be a nightmare to build. There is a lot of infrastructure hidden under the streets in that area which would make this an extremely expensive project and any connection between these two lines would also create additional complexity in routing trains which would be counter productive. The other places where the IND was extended over BMT trackage in the 1950s made sense but this one is questionable at best. |
