The problem with doing that would be that it would create an at grade junction like 143rd St/Lenox and Bway/Myrtle. The TA would if and where possible like to eliminate such junctions rather than create new ones. If the TA wanted to do that then it could have created a junction between the Bway and 6th Ave tks leading to the north side of the Manny B and connected the Nassau St tks to the south tks of the Manny B which would have allowed for additional routes and service patterns. |
