And for the Book of Last Runs:On May 3, 2009, service on Denver's original G line was discontinued due to low ridership. This line opened 2 1/2 years earlier with the opening of the Southeast Corridor. It ran from Lincoln Ave. to Nine Mile Park'r'Ride at I-225 and Parker Road. Initially, trains ran every 30 minutes. Service was cut back to peak hours only before RTD pulled the plug. With the opening of the R line, essentially an extension all the way to Smith Road and Peoria Street, on February 24, 2017, this route was resurrected. |
