Too bad the MTA is unwilling to push rail service to underserved communities upstate.MTA service area does not include Columbia County. It stops with Dutchess County. The county line is about 1 mile north of Millerton. None of the towns wanted to be the new terminal because of all the car traffic it would bring. That's why a new station was located north of Wassaic on Route 22. |
