It was cold as an ice cream freezer.As it turned out, the reason why I made that extra trip was because Station Dept. did not have the station open yet for good reason. They were told to open to the public at 12 midnight. The trip I made was slightly before midnight and the t/o scheduled was stuck waiting outside too. His job was J101. the first midnight job. The conductor on J101 was already at the new terminal as he parked his car at 121 and rode on my train into the new terminal. Finally, on our trip into the new terminal we were delayed at 121 so the Saturday PM TD, along with others, could load radios, paperwork, and other essentials onto the last car of my train which would no longer be needed at 121. |
