Is 6609 seriously ill?When I last had seen the car earlier in the year, it was all the way out there at 207th Street Yard, with its exterior paint fading based upon its outdoor presence. I recall one incident that #6609 was prone to stuck brakes on a #7 line holiday special run many years ago. The shop forces have made no attempts in looking at the car, and have it sent back to the TM. Only #6688 at Shore Line is getting the TLC that its sister car in NYC really needs. -William A.
